About Me

Julia, originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, is a musician currently living and working in Germany.

With more than 200 concerts in her early youth, Julia captivated her public with pieces of the classical repertoire, new pieces, and transcriptions for solo, duo and different types of ensembles. Her experience has been influenced by the countries and cultures she has shared with; her Ecuadorian background, Spanish influence and the actual German and international contact.

Julia’s motivation and curiosity pushed her to explore new fields like improvisation, folk music and self-projects. Festivals and competitions have been an impulse for her development learning from renowned European teachers and receiving different prizes.

Thomas Müller-Pering

“Julia is a brilliant guitarist and ravishing musician who fascinates her audience thanks to great creativity and spontaneously ignited temperament – her playing combines sound culture, rhythm, timeless poetry and instrumental elegance.”

Ricardo Gallén

“Julia is a natural talent whose sensitivity and elegance give her interpretations a freshness that captivates all who listen to her.”
